Story
Skier, photographer, writer, artist, born and raised in Germany. I grew up ski racing and nowadays I feel most drawn to the backcountry and bigger lines. I’m happy to walk for fresh snow.
Why CAST?
"I think it´s a matter of confidence and feeling. We all know that tech bindings work well and feel good as long as there´s soft snow but I simply prefer a "real binding and proper boots“ when it´s far from perfect. The smooth and damp feel, power transmission and elasticity in a Pivot is unmatched. Especially when you ski around the resort, slack country, terrain that has easy access Cast is my go-to everyday. To shred on your setup and yet being able to walk a few meters is simply amazing. Also for safety reasons, having skins in my pack all the time and being able to get to where I need to be to be…feels good. You become a better asset to your crew."
