The Second Ski Kit is the cheapest way to get multiple pairs of skis set up if you already have a Freetour Pivot. You will need an extra set of Look Pivot heel pieces and will need to use the alpine toes and tech toes from your existing Freetour, as none of those are included with the Second Ski Kit. We are minimalist, frugal ski bums and the Second Ski Kit is our gift to all the like minded skiers out there.

Includes:

2 Cast Toe Base Plates
2 Cast Heel Assembies (Climbing Risers and Brake Retainers)
All Necessary Binding Screws for mounting

FAQs

If you would like to mount the system yourself, please follow this link to our Freetour Mounting Tutorial. The Freetour uses the same hole pattern as the Look Pivot bindings and is a straightforward process if you are experienced mounting skis. There are two added holes shown on our Heel Hole Template provided with every Freetour.

Warning: All bindings must be properly adjusted to the users boot sole length, height, weight, and release preference. The ski/boot/binding system must then be tested with the user's boots in accordance with industry standards before use, to ensure proper function.

Warning: If you are not a properly trained ski technician with the proper tools and a jig, you must have your bindings mounted by an authorized Look® or Cast® dealer.

The Freetour is sold with an Alpine/GripWalk compatible AFD installed and also comes with an interchangeable Touring compatible ISO 9523 AFD to accommodate rockered touring boot soles. You will need to have a boot with tech inserts in the toe to work with the uphill tech toe.

The Freetour 2.0 uses the same hole pattern as the Look Pivot binding.  If your skis are already mounted with a Look Pivot binding, this is not an issue.  Simply upgrade your Look Pivot 15 or 18 binding with the Freetour Upgrade Kit and then use the existing holes. Two additional holes will need to be drilled for the brake retainer.  The Heel Hole Template is provided with every purchase of a Freetour and can be downloaded here, Heel Hole Template.

Yes, they are the same as the Look Pivot 15 and 18. (Although you may think about getting fresh Pivots at this point.) The Rossignol® FKS™ 12 and 14 DO NOT work.

No. However, if you already have a pair of Freetour Pivot 15s or 18s you can use the 12 or 14 heels with our Second Ski Kit.

Yes, you will need to locate a 2nd pair of Pivot heels to use with the Second Ski Kit. Cast unfortunately does not sell just Pivot heels.
