Moving Into Bigger Shoes: The New CAST HQ

Announcing The New CAST HQ

For the last handful of months, we’ve been operating in a state of controlled chaos. Between manufacturing the Freetour system and fulfilling orders, we’ve been swinging hammers, pouring concrete, and wiring a new facility from the ground up. There were easier options, but none that allowed us to expand our vision on our terms. So, like everything we do at CAST, we chose to build it ourselves.

Moving into this new space isn’t just about having more square footage; it’s about establishing a permanent foundation for the future of CAST

Construction

After many years of contemplating what we ultimately needed and the dream HQ, we finally found a proper piece of land and went all in. From breaking ground to pouring the foundation, building walls, putting the dang roof on and moving all of our crap in there, we couldn't have done it without the support of our talented and hard working friends. Thanks to the expertise of friends in our community, we learned along the way and miraculously had the building up by mid-winter.

Building this facility will allow us to spread our wings and add efficiency to every aspect of CAST.

Scaling The Dream

This new HQ allows us to solve the two biggest problems facing a growing technical brand: Efficiency and Innovation.

  • Manufacturing Excellence: We already keep tight production schedule and have a kick-ass crew. Now we can really grease the wheels of our operation and accelerate our capabilities.
  • Expanded Prototyping: The increased shop space means more room for the machines that allow us to test, break, and refine new ideas in real-time. We've technically always done in-house, but now we'll have a proper lab for our wild ideas.

Total Skin in the Game

There’s a certain clarity, in-between panic attacks, that comes when you’re responsible for the entire engine. By owning our infrastructure, we’re investing in the future of CAST as we continue to innovate and advocate for big mountain skiing. We have total skin in the game, and this facility is the physical proof of that commitment.

We didn't build this place to sit behind desks. We built it to be a high-performance workshop where the most reliable backcountry bindings on the planet are born.

What’s Next?

The dust is still settling, but the machines are already humming. We’re officially transitioned and preparing for a packed summer of manufacturing. This move marks the end of a long construction cycle and the beginning of a new chapter for CAST—one where we have the space to push the limits of what a ski binding can actually do.

Thank you to all of you— our friends, family, community and customers alike. We're here because of your support and trust.
